Hi.

I have been away for a while but am now back in Pezanas with my 1996 Nissan Skyline GTR R33 in midnight metallic purple. It has 54,000km, Brembo brakes, HKS adjustable suspension, 320km NISMO speedometer with A-LSD and is UK registered. I will be using the car for a couple of weeks and then trying to sell it in France. The price will be 23,000 Euros but this does not include French registration as this is not yet possible in France until 2007.

Any serious speculants are welcome to test drive.

Hi mate really nice car, many french peolple would be on your place...but french registration is really difficult for this car, especially if it's modified...

Yes. I live in Pezenas. Been here for 8 months now but am in the UK every 2 weeks for working (importing mostly Skylines from Japan to the UK, then UK registration and shipping to Sweden). Every time I learn some French words I seem to forget them by the time I come back.

I have just been for a 25km bike ride! What a fantastic country you have!!!

Yes, I would like to come to the next meet you have. When and where?

Why would it be possible to register a Skyline in France in 2007 and not in 2006? I've not heard anything about such an evolution in french laws which would allow to register a Skyline in France next year...

BTW, do you have the fsh of this GTR? Is it an import or a genuine UK GTR? (guess it's an import as you mention it's delimited) Got more pics? (can email me if u prefer... kaesersoze@hotmail.com)
I spoke to the Ministery of Transport for the EU Comission in Brussles about 4 months ago. He said that the whole EU vehicle registration process would be harmonised in 2007 so all the registration of EU registered vehicles would be straight forward, cheap and easy. The car is still limited to 180km/h, but this can be fixed with a simple chip.

My Skyline has been imported from Japan and re-registered in the UK. I forgot to mention that it has a quick shift gear change. It has no service history as many cars from Japan, but after driving it from Calais to Pezenas I am sure that the mileage is correct. I even think just by looking through and under the car you can see that the mileage is genuine. I have imported about 100 Skylines from Japan and sent them to Sweden and I know what a good one should feel like.
